I like beer, music, drumming, sitting on my behind watching the world go by, computers, games (both the board and computer varieties), and movies.
I have a fairly eclectic taste when it comes to music. I like a nice bit of heavy rock (Slayer) to intelligent hip-hop (DJ Shadow) to indie (Pixies) and everything in-between. However, my dirty, terrible secret is, I love a bit of Disco every now and then………….FUNKY TOWN!!!!!
My taste in movies is also…..different. I will quite happily watch a terrible B-Move (Bad Taste, Chopper Chicks in Zombie Town), world cinema (Infernal Affairs, Kagemusha), some action films (Out for Justice, Con Air, Commando) some Hollywood Blockbuster (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), to some indie films (Brick, Dear Wendy, Thumbsucker) to some happy-go-lucky blockbuster smash (…….Bratz).
I am not a fan of Disney or Cringe Comedies like American Pie. My arguments: In Bambi, the Hunter was the hero as venison is good eating, and if I am cringing at a film, I clearly don’t want to watch it, so why bother starting in the first place?
But I get the most fun out of drumming. I play in a local band called the Douglas Furs with my friends, and we play fairly regularly now. The main purpose of joining wordpress is so I can post on our band blog 
, making sure our bassist and our frontman don’t misrepresent me.
