Right, since I have a flippin’ account, and a blog, I thought I might as well get back into the habit of writing down something, even if it’s just once a week, or (and this would be amazing) daily.
So, its been just a teeny bit of a while since I last posted here, but I’m not going to bore you with the details, as pretty much anyone who will look at this knows my trials and tribulations over the last year or so. If not, ask me, or leave a comment and I’ll fill you in.
For now though, I think I will regail with something that might become a bit of a feature. Know, I have this reputation (weel-founded I might add) of being somewhat angry. A malcontent. Uphappy with his lot. However you want to put it, I get fuming about stuff really easily. So, to counter-act this, I’m going to post something I like, and something that angered me.
I’M ANGRY ABOUT – Fauxhawks.
Eugh. I think its probably the best way to start. Most commonly found on teenagers/early 20s and those in early to middling 30s, and they all think it looks cool.
NO IT DOESN’T!
Granted, I will admit (and most men would), that at some point in your life, you’ve washed your hair, caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror, and swooshed all you hair into the middle of your head into a fauxhawk. I imagine you even thought you looked cool for a fraction of a second. Then you continue your shower and rinse shampoo out your hair. The reason why? Because deep deep down you know that you all you are doing is messing about, and it did look rather silly.
For some though, they have taken it too far. If you want to be cool, grow a proper Mohawk. It takes dedication and balls. Lots of balls. Cajones. Gumption. Whatever you want to call it, its basically what fauxhawkers don’t have. It irks me a lot when its middle-management types – the suits wandering around in the city going “Hey, aren’t I cool with my awesome hair.” No you aren’t. Come back with a mohawk and I might have a little respect for you. Until then, just either spike up all of your hair, or just keep it pasted to your head.
I AM HAPPY ABOUT – Terminator: Salvation
(Don’t worry, no spoilers here). Went to the cinema last night, saw T:S, it was awesome – Action, adventure, small nods to the previous films, a little funny in parts, but generally an all-round good film! I know some people don’t like Christian Bale, but I think he did a really good job, played John Connor really well, and made it an enjoyable experience! Plus it featured Moon Bloodgood (cool points for awesome name!) from Daybreak, which was nice. Two small notes aside – Common not as bad as he was in Smokin’ Aces, and thought he could detract from the film
- Bryce Dallas Howard (daughter of Ron Howard) has a slightly annoying “Confused” face that made me glad she was off-screen a lot of the time. Apparently she was in Spiderman 3, but that was such a sprint-paced film, you’d be forgiven for missing her!
Right, I’m off to cook some Spaghetti and Veggie Meatballs in a Tomato Sauce, and measure the right amount of spaghetti with my new spaghetti measurer! been looking for one for ages! Plus it is a fork to scoop out the pasta when done as well which is rather awesome! All for the low low price of £1.50 from Debenhams!
See y’all later!
